Most Important Tips To Keep Your House Cool During The Summer

In summer, it is most important that your home temperature be normal. In many homes, people run ACs 24 hours, but this is neither good for pocket nor for their health. Living in AC at all times has a bad effect on your health.

Below are the most important tips to beat the warmth of your home this summer.

Energy Efficient Light & Natural lighting

If you want to keep your house cool this summer then you should always try to maintain energy efficient bulbs and natural daylight. In addition, you can use an LED bulb in place of a regular 100 watt light bulb. You should always keep in mind that all hundred-watt light bulbs raise your room temperature.

Light colored curtains and bed sheets

You should always use only light colored curtains and bed sheets for your home. For this, you use a cotton bed sheet and yellow cover. Cotton is the best fabric for the summer season.

Light Colored Walls & Interiors

You should always use light colored paint for the exterior and interior walls of the house. Lighter colored paint reflects light and does not imbibe heat. Along with this it also decreases the need to attach artificial lighting to your house.

Indoor Plants

You can consider maintaining indoor plants to keep your home cool. If you have vacant land in front of your house then plant saplings there. Apart from this, you can also consider keeping some plants in your balcony as well. This will give a new look to the house, it will also be cold.

Unplug Appliances

You should always unplug all the electronic items when not in your use. There will be many appliances available in your home that are in standby mode and consume electricity. For this, you should unplug the fridge, TV, mobile charger, etc. kept at your home at night.

Apart from this, you should open the windows and doors as soon as evening. This will expel the hot air inside the house and keep the house cool.
